Road Rage Kled - League of Legends (Fan Design)
Legendary fan design skin for Kled, for a friend who is a Kled main! I had a lot of fun learning about bikers, the way motorcycles operate, and I feel like I only touched the tip of the iceberg! Thanks to a friend's feedback, I learned to be more aware of archetypes vs stereotypes, and using genre tropes especially when designing that may reflect sub-cultures. Kled himself have a very distinct and chaotic personality to bring out, yet he is also more than just "Road Rage" and I hope his story can bring that out for him! I will continue to strive more conscious towards designing through cultural awareness! Amazing thanks to friends and peers who have also contributed along this process!

Beauty Shot!
Concept pass. Looking back, I happen to have had a combination of each (Saturated hair, weapon, jacket and Skaarl head from A | Hairstyle and gloves from B | Bottomwear from C)
Early ideations The wagoner would be a wild one to design for Lunar New Year, but unfortunately does not fit well with character silhouettes and functionality.
Storybeats! What would it be like if the duo met up with the other iconic duo, Caitlyn and Vi? Skaarl definitely also needs some "nutrients" from those cupcake traps.
Initial skill ideas + weapon ideations! Imagine ulting and seeing road pavement markings appear as your teammates race right by you. For Kled players, that's the thrill!
The chicken/hen Skaarl came up quite frequently, but was not part of the original skin goal of an "abiotic" Skaarl. Will come back to that idea in the future!
Deviating from the previous pass and re-iterating on the rift, generates new possibilities in case I have new routes I could have had explored.
This is the time when I started diving into research more and thanks to a friend's feedback; be more aware of stereotypes and how I portray certain characters.
